What I Learned from An Onion: Big Wisdom from Little Things

What I Learned from An Onion

Big Wisdom from little things

SECOND EDITION–  Soon to be released

The idea of What I Learned from an Onion, came from…an onion! Yes, a sprouting onion sitting in my vegetable bin.

Everyday it was different. Everyday I marveled at how the onion was so devoted to growth. Then, I saw myself in the onion, and saw my own devotion to growth.

A plethora of wisdom is available to us every day. It waits for us to behold it.  Demanding jobs and lifestyle, a sense of too little time, maneuvering through life’s traffic– on the road and on our desks, all keep us from the message a little acorn, or a cardinal flying by, might have for us.

Onion is simple wisdom from everyday magic. It is uplifting and nourishing to the soul. So much to learn from one little snail or a great big redwood! It’s here in the pages of this book.

What do the Elders mean when they say we have all been living in “The Story of Separation?” How can we shift into “The Story of Connection,” on the inside and outside of us?

Beth Bando illuminates the rippling effects of separation and provides doable steps to support our shift into connection, becoming whole and cultural healing.
